Wearable Pressure Relief Protection
GEL-WEAR pressure relief devices are designed to provide comfortable, safe preventative relief and protection from the development of pressure sores and nerve damage for sensitive body parts and joints. 100% medical quality silicone gel is encased in thermopolyurethane film and inserted into a specially designed pouch to provide maximum pressure relief and joint protection. Our PERMA-TEMP “Temperature Dispersion” feature keeps the gel “cool to the touch” and resists moisture buildup caused by fluctuations in body heat, providing additional comfort to the affected area. A unique “SEAMLESS SEALING” provides an extra safeguard against leaks and breakage, which is extremely beneficial in providing flexibility and comfort, while maintaining support, compression and pressure relief, particularly around the elbow, ankle and heel. GEL-WEAR protectors are manufactured with stretchable and breathable fabric that is lightweight and durable. They are easy to use and are easy to clean. GEL-WEAR is ideal for patients requiring long-term protection or that may be involved in extensive rehabilitation. They are suitable for in-home hospital and nursing home use. |
